Up the Canyon

This week was another family reunion...this time up Big Cottonwood Canyon. On Thursday morning after a relaxing breakfast, I went for a walk with my nephew and sister. It is so beautiful up in the mountains. I can't believe how easy it is for me to forget the beautiful world when I am stuck in my office or stuck in the city. Oh how I love these opportunities to get out and experience nature!

A Closer Look

First off, I want to wish you well and I hope you survived Friday the 13th!

Today was a beautiful Saturday: perfect for a drive up the canyon. I went up Big Cottonwood Canyon to check out the snow levels, scout out locations, and to enjoy my car ;) As usual, the immense cliffs dotted with fir trees was overwhelmingly beautiful. Instead of focusing on this familiar aspect, I decided to look at it from a different perspective. Here are a few shots of some close ups. It's amazing to me how breathtaking this world can be from any view, no matter how wide or narrow your perspective.
