Another Wonderful Family

The other day, I photographed this beautiful family, each child with their own, distinct personality. Both of them are so precious and fun, I really had a blast. Too bad the sun had to set so quickly because it would've been fun to spend more time with them :( It was hard narrowing them down, but here are two of my favorites.

Seeing Double

At first glance, you might think you're seeing double. But, you're not ;)

Meet Collin and William -- 6 month old twins, who are smiling, giggling, beautiful baby boys. After a while, you learn to differentiate between the two quite easily. Here are a few of my favorites of the day. Hope you enjoy.

They're Hitched!

John and Lenita finally tied the knot yesterday, August 24th.
They had their reception the night before which was a blast. A few rain drops fell near the end, but there was a dazzling sunset to compliment the beautiful bride.

At the temple, there were tons of flags lining the grass -- it was a patriotic wedding day. Here are some of my favorites, plus a link to a slideshow. I haven't figured out how to make the video stream, so it may take a few minutes to load. Be patient and enjoy the images!

Mother and Daughters

When Mom's in town, it's time to get together for a group picture. Today, it was Nancy and her two daughters Breanne and Alicia. The grass was super wet, but they were hard-core troopers and allowed their pants to get soaked. We got some great pictures of them interacting. You can just feel the love!

Utah Lake

This morning I woke up bright and early to take John & Lenita's engagement pictures down at Utah Lake. We were all tired, but it was definitely worth it! I hope you like these as much as I do. Good luck you two as you finish getting ready for the wedding :)

Cute By Nature

Even though the younger kids had a difficult time -- they didn't want to be tied down and forced to smile -- we got some awesome shots of this beautiful family. You could say everything was picture perfect. And funny enough, the very first picture I took of the 1-year old was the best one! Go figure. Anyway, here's some of my favs. Hope you enjoy :)

Lovely Lenita

I have to say it was a perfect evening. The sun was shining, it wasn't too hot, and I had the pleasure of photographing Lenita. She is beautiful -- especially her smile. Here is a few of my favorites of the shoot to show you how it went.

No Power

Last night I was supposed to help one of my good photographer friends with studio lights for the family pics at the reception. Due to a fierce storm earlier in the day, the power was out, so my lights were no good. I decided to hang out for an hour 'just in case' they came back on, and ended taking some detail shots. It was fun to have a no stress, no responsibility shoot :) P.S. That's my friend.

Beautiful Morning for a Family Picture

Despite the cooler temperature, it was a beautiful morning for a family picture. 2 proud grandparents with almost all their children, and 12 well-behaved, adorable grandchildren made for the perfect family photo. Let's hope the post-production, when we add in 2 people, runs as smoothly as today!
