the Young Family

First of all, I need to apologize for not posting in almost 2 weeks! Can you all forgive me? Things have been crazy for me and I just haven't been on top of my blogging....but I promise to stay on top of all my upcoming photo shoots :)

Second of all, meet my family! These are some pictures that I took a couple weeks ago before my little brother left on his LDS mission to Milwuakee, Wisconsin. It was a last minute thing, so instead of hiring another photographer to do it, I was in charge. I had to pose myself (which is quite harder than you might think) and I look pretty awkward in most shots.... Luckily, our neighbor came to 'snap the picture' so I didn't have to keep running back and forth.

As you can see, my two little nephews, Will and James, are growing up so fast! I love living close to them so I can play with them and see them frequently. They make me so happy! This is going to be the last family photo until my bro gets home in 2 years. I am so grateful for everyone in my family. The older we all get, the closer we become. I couldn't have asked for a better family. I love you guys!

Carly + Bill Engagements

Yesterday was my second time at the International Peace Gardens and let me say, it was GORGEOUS! When I went in the Spring, there weren't many flowers except for the blossoming trees. But yesterday, it will filled with beautiful end-of-summer flowers and rich greenery.

To get to the real point of this post....Carly and Bill were so much fun! You can just feel their love for each other. Carly is seriously a babe - I mean, she looks like she is a model - yet she is so humble. (I can't wait for her bridals) And Bill is just plain sweet and cute with her. I had fun watching them interact with each other.

P.S. Stay tuned during the next few months for some awesome announcements that will be taking place in 2008!

Call me crazy, but I love the flare I got with the light filtering through the trees. You can actually see the leaves and I think it's pretty sweet (although, I'm sure some might disagree with me on this)

Breanne's Bridals

I have been anxiously waiting for this day since I took Breanne and Riley's engagement pictures back in August. Breanne has such stunning, natural beauty. I especially love her eyes and her smile. For her bridals, Breanne wanted to portray elegance. We started at the Beehive Tea Room which has luxurious fabrics & drapes, quaint cafe tables, impressive murals, and classic furniture. It was awesome! (I must thank my friend Davina Fear who inspired me with her bridals done here earlier in the year). Then, we raced up to the U of U campus to finish up before it got dark. Breanne is so much fun to work with and I can't wait for her wedding day that's coming up in a few weeks!

New Website!

Saturday was seriously an awesome day for Three Winks Studio. Besides the fact that we participated in the Avenues Street Fair, our new website went live!

Hopefully you'll find our new website easier to navigate and help you find information quicker, plus you'll see more frequent updates.

My Booth at the Street Fair

First of all, I want to thank all of you who came to my booth at the Avenues Street Fair. Some of you were friends who came to support me, but many of you just happened upon my booth and let me say how wonderful it was to meet you! I met so many fabulous people. The day went by really fast because I enjoyed talking with each of you. A few of you who couldn't make it requested to see some photos....so here they are. I had this awesome peanut-shaped table I bought from Ikea that I covered with albums, business cards, and info cards. There were 14 different info cards to choose from, all with different information on the back. If you stopped by my booth, write me a comment and introduce yourself to me again!

And, to those of you who entered into the drawing, we will be announcing a winner shortly, so keep checking the blog! :)
