Charlotte + Matt

Yesterday was seriously incredible. Matt and Charlotte were married in the Salt Lake Temple surrounded by their loved ones. This wedding was special to me because Charlotte was one of my friends from high school -- we ran cross country together. I don't think I have seen her since high school, so it was such a wonderful surprise when she called me a few weeks ago and asked me to photograph her wedding.

These two are so great to work with. They have awesome chemistry, you can just feel the love. Plus, they've both got beautiful smiles. All this makes my job so much easier :)
Even though they had never 'modeled' for me, they trusted me, did everything I asked, and acted so natural around the camera.

the McSweeney Family

Saturday morning, I had the privilege of photographing my neighbors, the McSweeneys. Tyler just got back into town last week from serving a LDS mission, Lauren was visiting for the week to celebrate Tyler's return (normally she can't stay for more than a day or two), Stephen received his Eagle Scout award, and Lindsay squeezed in our shoot before her soccer responsibilities.

They are a busy family, but so much fun. They are such great neighbors and I'm glad that I had the chance to photograph their family. Oh, I almost forgot to mention David, the exchange student from Peru who has barely been with them for a week. David is one of many exchange students who has lived with the McSweeneys. They are generous and excited to provide opportunities for kids from outside of the U.S.

Kaitlyn + Craig

Yesterday was so awesome. I have to thank my friend Shellee Draper for referring Kaitlyn and Craig to me.

Kaitlyn and Craig had to reschedule their wedding, which was originally set to be in the month of June. Shellee took their engagement and bridal pics, but she had another wedding scheduled the day after they had rescheduled, all the way down in St. George and couldn't do all that driving. Basically, I was seriously super lucky to be their wedding photographer!

These guys are such a hoot. I almost felt like I was having too much fun laughing and joking around. Kaitlyn has an electric, contagious personality and I love her laugh. Craig has an awesome sense of humor and he loves Kaitlyn so much! (which shows up beautifully in these photos) They were up for anything and were awesome to work with. Plus, as you can see, Kaitlyn is gorgeous!
