Sam

Meet Sam. He is the dog of one of my best friends. Sam has been known as a rambunctious and playful member of our neighborhood for the last 11 years. You will always see him wearing a bandana around his neck, giving him a fashionable and friendly demeanor.

I found out on Sunday that Sam will not be with us for much longer. He has lung cancer and has difficulty breathing. Today we took these pictures for Sam's family to have when he is gone. They love him so much! Even though some may say 'he is just a dog', to them he is just another member of their family.
